Measuring social impact can be complex, particularly when interventions are tailored to individual needs. We recently had the opportunity to collaborate with Frontier Economics on an in-depth analysis of the impact Social Entrepreneurs Ireland (SEI) creates for the social entrepreneurs we support. Using a tailored methodology, Frontier explored how SEI contributes to the success and growth of social enterprises across Ireland.

Some of the key findings:

  • Survival rates increase by up to 70%

  • Employment, sales, and future funding increase by up to 50%

  • Innovation sees a boost of up to 80%

Importantly, the research also highlighted that it’s not just our direct supports like funding and coaching that drive change — our emphasis on peer networks, measurement, and team support also plays a critical role.

We are incredibly grateful to the team at Frontier Economics for their insight and collaboration.
