The Annual Awards Ceremony

As well as providing a practical support programme, we believe it is important to recognise and celebrate the work of our Awardees. In late autumn each year we bring our new group of Awardees together with friends and supporters of Social Entrepreneurs Ireland for an evening of celebration of their achievements and of social entrepreneurship overall.

2009 Awards Ceremony

 

 

 

In October 2009 at newly renovated Exchange building in Dublin, Social Entrepreneurs Ireland celebrated the 2009 Awardees together with supporters, partners and friends. 

Guest of Honour, President Mary McAleese, presented the Awards and spoke of the importance of social entrepreneurship, stating that Ireland needs their “drive, resilience and resourcefulness even more now”.
