Wave Change is a new civic action initiative launched by Social Entrepreneurs Ireland. Aimed at 18-25 year olds and the organisations and individuals who support them, Wave Change seeks to build an Ireland in which young people can lead and fully participate in issues which affect them. In areas as diverse as educational reform to jobs training and jobs creation strategies to mental health or the juvenile justice system, 18-25 year olds have direct experience and a passion for change and yet they rarely participate - whether through lack of opportunity, a perception that there is no interest in their voice or ideas or for other reasons. How can this change?
